Easter is always a perfect opportunity for a holiday, but if you are unable to get away this weekend there is still plenty going on in Brisbane to keep the whole family entertained. Whilst you could always do a day trip or go on a picnic, it is the perfect time to take advantage of the great exclusive events happening all around Brisbane. Blue Water Festival
Taking place in Sandgate on Thursday night and with events all day Good Friday, this festival offers the best waterfront views for the 68th Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race. And this year will be even more exciting as it is the official reopening of the newly refurbished Shorncliffe Pier. So pack yourself a picnic for a great night or day out. Family Fun Day at Victoria Park Golf Course
On Easter Sunday bring the kids for a morning of exciting and free activities. Including face painting, a jumping castle, kids golf and a petting zoo.
